To support an exclusive pre-screening of the movie Hidden Figures in the Science Library of the University of Oslo, a touch table application was designed using XIMPEL in Spring 2017.
Using artwork and video material provided by Fox Pictures, an application was developed, which allows for watching trailers and scenes, and for getting background information about the characters and movie. In addition, it is possible to read e-books on the touch screen using an integrated e-book reader. The application was displayed for several weeks in an exhibition in the reading room of the library. Due to rights limitations, this application can only be viewed on the University of Oslo campus.
